From the village centre, we walk slowly along quiet vineyard lanes to the Brachetto-pink Big Bench overlooking the hills. Its heart-shaped frame offers a place for a photograph celebrating the sky, vines and beauty of the surroundings.
Golden sunset light accompanies our return towards the village.
Back in the square, we make the final climb to Alice Bel Colle's panoramic viewpoint. Its 360-degree views take in the Alps and distant horizons as stars appear and night replaces day.
A relaxed evening of wonder and quiet moments, to enjoy with someone you love or in your own company.
Wear technical hiking clothing in layers suited to the weather forecast. Bring a spare T-shirt and shoes, as requested in the Italian programme in connection with African swine fever measures, waterproof clothing for unexpected rain, water and personal essentials. Bring mosquito repellent and a head torch.
