L'evento

Site already inhabited in ancient times by prehistoric settlements, traces of settlements of primitive Roman settlements have been found by the consul Marco Fulvio Flacco.

The path is wide-ranging with glimpses of extreme beauty on the Unesco heritage hills.

We touch the towns of Conzano where in 1992, there was a rediscovery of an interesting emigration phenomenon towards Oceania. Conzano was established as the only town in the Province of Alessandria twinned with Australia (Ingham), so there was the title of Piazza Australia (formerly Piazza d'Armi), the opening of an exhibition space on emigration, together with the memory of the official spokesperson for the Conzanese emigrants in Australia, Ettore Cantamessa.

A particular striking ski line is immediately visible on the way: it is the town of Camagna. You cannot escape the unusual profile of the town, dominated as it is by its parish church: the majestic nineteenth-century dome by the architect Crescentino Caselli takes up the structure developed a few years earlier by his illustrious teacher Antonelli in the dome of San Gaudenzio in Novara.
