As we climb the hill, a broad mosaic of orderly vineyard rows follows the gentle contours of the landscape.
Among the vines, the Big Bench invites us to stop and enjoy the view. A memory post recounts the area's history and identity, paying tribute to Castelnuovo Belbo and its roots and recalling the museum dedicated to Francesco Cirio.
Beside the bench is a surprise for readers: a barrel converted into a small library, with a large red heart forming a frame. Browse a book while looking out over the hills.
The walk then descends gently through small woods and vineyards. The return offers the colours and scents of the countryside before we reach our starting point.
Event membership and organisation contribution: €20.
