A gentle, immersive walk among shady trees, open fields and changing vegetation. The route was designed to protect the landscape and respect the environment, with unobtrusive signage that lets nature speak for itself.
We reach a special bend in the stream, with clear, cool water, where the programme includes time for a refreshing dip or simply resting with your feet in the water.
We pause for a shared picnic, with conversation and the sound of flowing water. Afterwards, we continue through gentle hills and return along the same path, enjoying new views and the pleasure of walking together.
Wear technical hiking clothing in layers suited to the weather forecast. Bring a spare T-shirt and shoes, as requested in the Italian programme in connection with African swine fever measures, waterproof clothing for unexpected rain, water and personal essentials. Bring plenty of water, a sun hat and mosquito repellent if needed.
