From Piazza Don Savio, follow Via dei Cadu gently downhill towards the medieval tower and onto a scenic 10 km loop with 370 m of elevation gain, Italian difficulty grade T. Meet at the car park by San Maurizio church.

A scenic loop of around 10 km in the western part of Terzo's municipal territory, following ridges at the head of the Rio dei Galli and around Piani dei Cavalleri, with a total elevation gain of 370 m.
The route mainly follows minor paved roads (31%) and unpaved tracks and paths (53%). It is for walkers only and is preferably followed clockwise.
Hiking boots are required for steep unpaved sections, which can be wet or muddy. Maximum gradients are 26.6% uphill and 34.7% downhill.
Enjoy vineyards, woodland and wide views over the Erro and Bormida valleys towards the northern foothills of the Apennines.
Especially pleasant on clear spring and autumn days. In summer, avoid the hottest hours; in winter, avoid days when the ground is frozen. The starting point is easily reached by car, with parking in the square in front of the parish church.
